Sorry if this information is somewhere else already. I was checking out Zum Uerige's Facebook page and noticed some news about a craft beer bar called La Fine Mousse opening in Paris this summer. Their website for now is only a page to subscribe to their newsletter (please let it be in English, as I have subscribed), and an address is not listed on their FB page although it appears to be in The Marais(?) district around the Bastille. The reason this was on Uerige's page I guess is that the owners of La Fine Mousse were serving Uerige and Spezial, among other presumably-fine-but-unmentioned German beers, at what seemed to be a party in some way celebrating their new venture (sorry, my translation skills are not up to par). I'm going to Paris in August, and depending on where I'm staying maybe I'll swing by, assuming they're open by then. All information I could find is very vague (perhaps obviously). Their FB page links to their website and blog, which has information about the people involved. Cheers!

Na ja, klar! Aber mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut! Ich bin Amerikaner, der in Heidelberg wohnt. I'm visiting Paris in August and staying in the Marais neighborhood, near the Bastille. Is your bar easy to reach by public transportation? It looked a little complicated from the Bastille stop. If I can, I'll stop by and say hello (vielleicht auf Deutsch!). Will you be selling Uerige's beers there? That would be a big draw for me. PS - Good luck with the venture and cheers!
Hi, We can speak english if you prefer. Brandon, a friend of mine, from http://www.americanbeergeekinparis.com/ is currently putting the bar in beeradvocate. The bar is know in soft opening (http://blog.lafinemousse.fr)...I assume we will still have some Uerige and Spezial, but can't be sure about it From Bastille you can come walking. Perhaps 20/25 min walk. But the best way to move in Paris is definetly to rent a velib. You pay 1,4€ per day and then have so many 45 min free bike ride that you want in a day !
