Haven't seen such a thread in a while. I know a lot in MA, but am also interested in folks sharing what's coming in other New England states. Here's what I know of in MA, listed by town then brewery name.

    Abington - Tenth District
    Barre - Stone Cow
    Boston - Castle Island
    Cambridge - Lamplighter
    Dennis - Devil's Purse
    Duxbury - Powder Point
    Foxborough - Seventh Wave
    Franklin - Franklin Brewing
    Hyannis - Barnstable Brewing
    Lowell - Merrimack Ales
    North Adams - Bright Ideas
    Northampton - Building 8
    Orange - Honest Weight
    Somerville - Indignant
Turners Falls - Brick & Feather
    Westborough - Cold Harbor

Ones that I heard about but have been eerily silent for a while (no-go?)-

    Attleboro - Green Door
    Pittsfield - Green Lion
    Salem - Nowhere

Curious to hear of others in MA and wherever in New England. And please let's not devolve into the usual dissing brewer's experience routine as often happens when anyone mentions new breweries '(s)he only has eight years home brewing experience / how dare they even bother derp if they haven't personally trained under Shaun Hill since they were fifteen derp derp?' and keep it focused on what's coming. Some will probably actually be good, though we all know aspiring brewers have a high bar now, set by our awesome local and regional breweries.

Things are getting pretty saturated but I think places that strive to serve a local taproom / brewpub niche (rather than claw for shelf space at overstocked shelf turdy craft package stores) still have plenty of local beer-deprived communities to fill.

So much beer, only one liver. Pace yourselves folks!

Correct me if anything is listed wrong. For example I checked up and found Devil's Purse is already open, and Castle Island will be in Norwood not Boston.

Ah yes I thought Lord Hobo had made at least a wort so I figured they were on the cusp of reality not planning.

The biggie in NH is Deciduous Brewing Co. in Newmarket (brewer David Sakolsky's new partnership), which is technically not in planning but set to open late July. Very excited about this.

Neighborhood Beer Co. in Exeter, NH (all German-style, I believe) should be opening this year as well.

As someone about to move to the North Shore (likely Salem), I'd love to hear if anyone knows of anything new sprouting up around there. At least I won't be further from the NH Seacoast and such.

Speaking of, there's definitely some talk in the NH Beer thread about Deciduous, as ElGallo mentioned, and Great North Aleworks which will be opening in Manchester later this year. Good times in the Granite State for sure.

Doubtful that any brewery would focus on sours given the nature of the brews, length of time to brew them, number of batches you'd have to dump while getting it right, etc.

    Ashuelot Brewing - Richmond
    Big Water Brewery - Salisbury
    Havener Brewing - Londonderry
    Mooselick Brewing - Troy

I doubt any of those breweries have the resources to come out of the gates with sours blazing. That's not to say none of them will eventually have sours, but I think that the immediate sour growth, at least in MA, will be from established breweries which are growing like Trillium, Tree House (more Lucid?), and Mystic.

Cool to see some developments in the SW New Hampshire boons, for years there's only been Elm City in Keene!

I think they are already doing some brewing, but Battle Road is opening a brewery and brew pub in Maynard, MA.

West Acton, MA is getting a 7th Settlement Brewery. I know there is already a 7th Settlement in NH, so I'm not sure how the brewing, etc... will work between the two.
