Nothing earth shattering, 21st Anniversary IPA is tasting mighty fine.
Simcoe, Centennial, Citra.

Galaxy Pale ale is a no go, not enough hops. Bummer.

 

NEBCo's plans for their new facility in West Haven have changed due to 2 lawsuits. Instead of moving everything there, production and distribution will stay in Woodbridge and West Haven will be a taproom/events center. If the new plan is approved, they hope to open in West Haven by the holidays.

"Plans to begin tearing down the abandoned and decaying conference center that sits at the 6 Rock St. site to initiate construction were halted when the development was served two lawsuits from neighbors on both sides of the site — the Jimmies of Savin Rock restaurant and the Land Trust of West Haven that maintains an adjacent conservation easement."

I am glad production is staying in Woodbridge, and I hope they keep the tap room open as well. I am pessimistic about them being able to open the West Haven location by the holidays, though. I guess not having to install a production facility will cut down on the build time.

Don't know why they gave up on Yard Party in favor of the inferior Tickle Party. Wonder if it's a hop availability thing like Galaxy^^.

Welp, NEBCo pulled out of the deal in West Haven. No taproom. Said they have other locations they're looking at.

 

It's almost like the universe is telling Nebco that it belongs in Woodbridge. What is this like the third location that hasn't worked out?

Agreement reached yesterday. Taproom only, production to stay in Woodbridge. Current building to be remodeled.

 

As long as the taproom stays open in Woodbridge too!
