New England Brewing Co lookout thread

hate that I totally struck out on IST this year... last year weeks later I found a couple bottles on the shelf... this year everything is gone everywhere

 

I havent had any NEBCO in so long, my last GB was like 18 months ago. I wanted to really make an effort to get IST this year but I totally forgot about it the last few weeks and easily could have taken a ride last wed/thursday when I was home for the holidays in south eastern MA.

 

I may have one to open with you

 

nice! I have one from last year still... we could open both... was trying to get some for everyone in the NJ group but my brother couldn't make it up. I was there on Monday and all fresh out... the folks there were great as always... opened two Freetail beers with them.

Not true! Harry's in Fairfield has last year's bottles on the shelf until recently and they should have some more of the new shipment on their shelves or in the back if you are interested.

 

There is actually another batch of ist in the tank. After this batch, that it this year. But the BA IST will be out soon.

 

AFAIK, the stuff that is cooking now is next years BA batch. Is some of it skipping the barrels?

 

Some will be bottled, yes.

 

Technically it will still be 2012 batch

 

Just to give you all a heads up, the New England Brewing Tap Takeover at Prime 16 is coming up at the end of January. We're going to space out the availability of special releases this year throughout the day to make sure everyone has an opportunity to get what they're looking for.

Can anyone give an update on BA IST?

When I was in before Christmas they said they were waiting on labels and it would be ready in a week or so, but I haven't seen them post anything about it being available yet.

 

I was there today and James said the printer they use across the street is on vacation for the week. Looking like early next week I'm assuming.

 

All labeled and ready to go as of last week.
Rob showed me a bottle....cool label,12oz bottle,$10,1400 bottles.

Honestly though,I 4got the reason for the hold up.He said it was supposed to hit this week.

 

Ahhh I want some IST but would settle for ST. I hate not being able to get it in MA. I would be able to get it when I went to school in RI if I was lucky and went to Nikkis at the right time.
