Like! If there wasn't an impending blizzard, I would be there!
Pints & Pies in Middlebury had it on tap as of yesterday.
Yes ist available. Very tasty but call ahead for the weekend to be sure someone is there. Very tasty
Well it lasted about a whopping 2.5 hours at Prime so don't beat yourself up too much.
Will they ever bring back Blackwell Stout?
Wasn't that a New Haven Brewing Company Beer?
Anyone know when Belle Dock will be ready?
Brewery open till noon today
Yup. Small print on the right
Hello, I'm in New Haven for the week. Are there any stores with Imperial Stout Trooper still on the shelf?
My bet would be no. It's long gone in most places. However, they were doing growlers of it at the brewery late last week(Thursday?). Not sure if it is all gone or not.
I have plenty of the regular, and barrel aged in my cellar. Bring any Schlafly with you?
Call Harry's Wine in Fairfield. I bought some bottles there last week and there were still some left.
We just tapped some more Fuzzy Baby Ducks at Prime. Gold Stock is on as well.
Pretty great lineup for growler fills on right now
NEBCO starting NY distro...
I especially enjoyed the line:
"New Yorkers will be reacquainted with the likes of: Gandhi Bot Double IPA, Sea Hag IPA, 668 Neighbor of the Beast, Galaxy Pale Ale, and Imperial Stout Trooper"
.......beers that have never been in NYS?
Also odd that they mention Galaxy up front, and then mention "draft only" for the "rotating IPAs". Might be reasonable to point out Galaxy is also draft only.
I was thinking the same thing.
I mean, think of how pissed Mass is going to be...
Saw the same thing Sandman. Really impressive line-up!
it is pretty weird that they pull out of Mass and then go into a different state. probably easier to serve limited markets in NY though. i don't know who their Mass distributor was, but this distributor sounds pretty cool too.
How pissed is Fairfield county going to be, getting passed over for NY.
Yeah, I thought about that. While I'd love to have it in Fairfield County more, the guys are making world class beers, and that's what matters. I/most of us are lucky enough where we can drive to the brewery/New Haven County if we REALLY need our fix THAT bad.
Would be awesome if they could somehow use the expansion to increase production, but they're pretty much out of space...
What are the chances of both IST and GBot still being available for fills on Saturday? I'd make the trip this weekend if that's a go-er.
Yes, in Norwalk at Bev Max. Not too many left, though. There are also some in the back cooler with the wrong price on them.
You can call Branford Wine and Liquor in the Branhaven Plaza. They had a bunch there when I went few weeks back.
Any GBot to be had in stores or are we waiting for them to brew again?
I don't know if there's any still on shelves, but they were canning it today when I stopped by the brewery. Should be in stores next week, although I couldn't tell you which stores those will be.
Stout Trooper is probably unlikely, it usually doesn't survive more than a day or two. I think Gandhi Bot I would be a decent bet to still be around by Saturday. Their last batch was a good size and with the recent Prime Tap Takeover along with special releases it seems to me that people wouldn't be clamoring for regular IST and G-Bot as much as normal. Those are just my 2 cents though, definitely call the brewery before you make the trip, though I'm sure they will have some tasty stuff for you one way or another!
Awesome, thanks for the detailed reply!
Any rumors on releases for Premeditated Rudrum and Chardoneighbor?
Cmon, like all the NY beer geeks did not find a way to sample most of those??
I could see Galaxy being a bit of an issue. The rest, not so much.
What is this?
Oddly enough, it's Friday and both are still going for growlers as we we speak. Obviously there's a chance they won't make it through the day, but I didn't suspect either would last a week, so I guess there's a chance you can get them tomorrow.
Premeditated Murder aged in Rum barrels.
I was under the impression this beer was going to be called "Attempted Murder."
Yeah, heard that same thing when they first announced PM. But I guess it changed since.
On tap for Saturday, g-bot, sea-hag, 668 and IST.
