Just cracked a Gandhi-Bot that I purchased yesterday and it had a ton of floaties... Now I love floaties, but I honestly don't think I have ever seen them in GBot. Does that mean I might have purchased an old can? The cashier swore they just got them in...

It's just yeast, you probably just got cans that were canned close to the end of the tank

what wangerbanger said. additionally, if floaties make any difference at all it's a good one; give you b vitamins (fights hangovers).

on the topic of NEBCO, think i'm going to kill my 2nd and last redrum bottle tonight. no reason to sit on it IMO, perfect now.

Besides Amity, what are some of the stores to hit that will carry NEBco products in that area?

I see that the brewery has Gandhi bot fresh on tap today, but if possible would love to find some cans as well. I'll be making this trip from the northwest corner of CT, so I'm happy to do a little searching around that area. Thanks for any tips or places to check out!

Ended up grabbing two 4-packs of Bot from Valley Discount. Thanks for the heads up. Grabbed some extremely fresh Elm City and 668 from Amity and a growler of Scrumtrulescent. They had Gandhi, 668, and Sea Hag on tap. Plenty of 668 and Bot glasses for purchase.
    Many thanks!

Found some fresh Gandhi Bot in Portland, CT recently. Shocked doesn't begin to describe it.

There is definitely still some from the last shipment floating around. They had the cans ready and stacked for canning the recent batch, which tasted amazing!

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who heard that the last distribution of Ghandi Bot in Hartford county got all f'ed up. In some error by the distributor, random non craft centric stores received a case, while other big stores who normally receive Ghandi when it comes in, got skipped.

Any one know of a store from New Haven to Hartford that has Ghandi-bot, in town for a week and a half for work and would love to grab some. I assume there is no IST around but if any one an point me to a place that has it or is looking to get rid of some send me a BM. I didn't bring anything with me but I'll sen a thank you box when I get back to VA just for the info.

I know that they won't/don't like to fill the taller 32oz swing top growlers, are the shorter 32oz screw top ones like the one on the right in this pic ok?

Yes those are fine. New 32 oz growlers should be available soon.

i've had all sizes of growlers filled there personally. that said, the vast majority of the growlers i've bought at NEBCO have been beer of which i was happy to have 64 ounces.

Indeed, but I'd almost always rather have 2x32 than 1x64. While I've been known to drink a full half-gallon (or more) of NEBCO by myself, there's just so much less retrospective self-recrimination involved with smaller growlers.

Agreed. 32 oz of any higher alcohol beer is so much nicer as an option than 64. 64 is a major commitment or a worry abut losing carbonation if drank over 2 days.
