Not sure if any of these places have Gandhi cans now, but they do get them when it's shipped out this way. Try calling BevMax (in either Stamford or Norwalk) and NinetyNine Bottles in South Norwalk (they sometimes post on facebook when it comes in).

Can anyone confirm what will still be on for growler fills tomorrow morning?

I know the NEBCO guys agree with this sentiment, although they have refused to confirm or deny whether they will be able to make cans happen. Fingers crossed!

    just got back....

I was there too early for Galaxy and the Gandhi Bot wasnt pouring well so......the offerings were Saison, Sea Hag, Supranaught and 668.

There was a case and a half of Gandhi Bot at Amity when I got there. I left the half a case.

finally had Supernaut today after picking up a couple growlers at the brewery. wow. scary good. not even surprised anymore. call me a homer all you want, but there's only two breweries i've ever had at this level of hop wizardry... NEBCO and Hill Farmstead. (Alchemist doesn't count as there's only one example, but i suppose that's just as good too). i'm sure there are breweries out there i haven't had (Alpine, maybe) that can do this also, but i mean... wow.

yeah, NEBCO, hill farmstead, lawson's, alchemist are all about the same level when it comes to hoppy pale ales. haven't had alpine (or at least not much... feel like maybe i've had one or two) but i wouldn't be surprised if they're just as good as the VT superstars and such.

re: supernaut, i liked a lot but thought FBD better. coriolis is a different animal altogether, and excellent. best nelson sauvin -centric beer i've had by far.

Yep. You are correct. I visited Alpine a few months ago. Incredible. We literally called them a "NEBCO/Hill Farmstead mix". That brewery/brewpub is TINY. Smaller than NEBCO and HF (if you can believe it). So simple, delicious, perfect.

Yeah, I liked FBD better too. But I think i like Supernaut more than Galaxy Pale.... And I really like Galaxy. I think for me it's just that EVERY TIME they do this it turns out insane...

FBD is the WINNER as far NEBCO pale ales are concerned, at least to this palate.

Supernaught is delicious though. It's no consolation prize. It's a winner all unto itself

Must have just missed you, I was there a little after 2. Gandhi Bot had kicked, replaced by Sea Hag. Also asked about Weiss Trash, and they said they were considering canning it but hadn't decided yet.

Does anyone know if there are Ghandi Bot glasses still available at the brewery? Also, never been to NEBco before, I'd love to hear a bit about what to expect. Thanks

there were plenty of glasses out on Saturday, and i imagine they have many more cases in back. but you can always call and ask. as for what to expect - i'll give you a grumpy answer, which is: go read this thread! described in great detail in many places :stuck_out_tongue:

also, being from MA, keep in mind you can use other brewery labeled growlers at NEBCO, so bring any ones you have lying around (clean, of course!)

Decided to read through the last 10 pages or so of the thread and have certainly found good info, but thank you for the response!
