Has there been any talk about when BA IST is being released? I thought it was gonna be sometime around now.

I heard about a month, they said it just finished fermenting last time I was there.

They just posted that galaxy is going on soon an also that they got in bottles for a barleywine and an unnamed barrel-aged beer...Could that be BA IST?

Yes, and eventually the Barley Wine will be aged as well.

Is this gonna be the first time they bottle BA IST? That release could be insane!

Not only was it done before, it wasn't very good either. Thin and grossly overcarbed.

NEBCO does most very good beers but the bottled BA IST was one of their few misses IMO.

Agreed and they know it.......but I have had their last couple BA brews and they have def. corrected their issues.Carbonation was perfect when the wine BA 668 was released.

Plus,I was told they also have a lot better quality barrels this time around to boot.
Looking very forward to the release.

    Cheers

BA IST will be conditioned in the brite tank this time around, so carbonation is basically guaranteed to be spot on.

The first batch was delicious right after it was released, but in many bottles the bottle conditioning just went way too far. None of my bottles were undrinkable, but it definitely went downhill.

My buddy just cracked his last one over labor day weekend.Carbonation was off as expected, but after we got rid of the excess,we still enjoyed it and thought it was very drinkable.

    Cheers
