New England Must Haves

    All,

    I have a friend coming to the Midwest and we are going to do a little swap.

    What are some must haves from the New England area that I should request....he asked for some ideas.

    Any help would be great!

    Heady Topper, anything from Hill Farmstead or Lawson's. I've really liked the hoppy lagers from Jacks Abby. Maine Beer Co is making some good beer as well.

    Some lunch and gandhi bot if your into the DIPAs.
    If you don't get Allagash your friend probably can.
    Oh and anything Jacks Abby.

    Ipswich Oatmeal Stout, Pretty things (at minimum Jack D'or and Baby Tree),I'd try some Jack's Abby Offerings, Sebago has a Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine that is top notch and out now, Allagash is a safe bet as well.

    A lot of good stuff already mentioned. Here's a few more I like and haven't seen posted:

    Wormtown makes some nice beers. I love their Pro-Am Porter, as well as their Be Hoppy and Hopulence. Norm is pretty fantastic too, as well as Sweet Tat. Hmm, I guess I like them all...

    Wachussetts Larry in a can, good stuff.

    Berkshire Brewing's Coffee Porter or Drayman Porter, both are excellent porters.

    White Birch's Humble Porter is pretty good.

    where in New England is your friend, what styles do you like.
    those will guide your friend. Are you a hophead, a belgian lover or love sours there is so much going on its awesome and many good shelf beers. seekabrew state comparisons are your friend.
