    Thanks for the information everybody, I definitely feel a lot more informed about what I am getting into out there. I'm probably going to save the non-Vermont bottle shops for the return trip (aside from redstone on the way to the Cape). Do MA (or VT) bottle shops carry Ithaca, Maine Beer Co., and Captain Lawrence? Also, where is a good place to get New England Brewing Co. goodies since MA doesn't carry them?

    Yup, nice relaxed weekend at the brewery. They are closed Sundays now and Saturdays little to no sales, smart.

    Another idea for you if you end up in Boston. Think of stopping by Trillium Brewing in Fort Point for some growlers. Check the website for their open hours. I think a couple of hours on Thursday and Friday. Longer hours on Saturday. Unfortunately I don't think they can give samplers due to a Boston licensing rule, but the beers have been pretty good.

    Looks like OP got some great information from all you NE BA's. I would also like to thank everyone that has commented and offered suggestions on all the other Heady / HF / VT threads, really excited to make another trek up to Waterbury.


    The lady and I are heading back to the Berkshires for a wedding June 18. We will be making the drive up to HF June 21 in the early afternoon aiming to be at there at 1. If any BA's are planning on heading up there same time, I can bring some Jester King for an IP trade.

    I'm getting ready to head out this week and had a final question about Boston. How is the parking by the CBC on Mondays in the late morning?

    There is a parking garage behind the complex and CBC validates, you can try for on street parking but the parking garage may be easier.

    I work in Boston and would meet up for a beer at Parish Cafe, CBC or Bukowskis Tavern if around and interested.

    I'd certainly be up for it. I am planning on at least checking out the CBC plus one other bar on Monday, but the plan has not been finalized.
