Well have to iron out details for Friday.

I don't know about Saturday. Fiance is working late Friday night, so I've got Daddy duties Sat morning with our 20 month old. Unless I bring her .

I read a bunch of this, but I must be really bad, what style is the next release 6/11-6/13 going to be?

If I get there like 2-3 Friday afternoon will they have any or do they cut off sales at a certain number each day? Never attended yet and don't know what to expect.

I'm assuming that they'll stick to the 1500 bottles per day. That wasn't an issue, any day, with the Wild Bitter release, obviously, but it'll be interesting to see how many show up for this one (seemingly a bit more interest based off of non-scientific observation!).

More interest cause the name isn't wild bitter and it is a gueze. People would be more excited still if it had a fruit in the name.

Popped a bottle of the advanced Sour Blonde. Let me preface this by saying I was not over impressed with the Wild Bitter. I thought it had somewhat of a muddled finish. I now state that the Sour Blonde in my opinion is the best example of a classic gueuze made in America that I have ever had. A near perfect blend of horse sweat earthiness and lemon/grapefruit rind tartness. Stunning aroma and flavor that holds up the entire bottle. As a BCJP certified judge I would be forced to dock it a couple points because it didn't have the long lasting head the style parameters demand, but aroma and flavor would have gotten max points. A candidate for best new beer of 2015

Heading up Friday and possibly Saturday. After bottle pick-up and quick lunch on one of the days it's off to Spring Green for some canoeing on the Wisconsin River...a Sour Blonde Geuze will be consumed mid-afternoon on the water! Can't wait.

We will get that lucky. It is a gueuze. At the Wild Peach release, I spoke with dan. He said that a gueuze and bourbon barrel kriek will return as 2015 R&D releases.
