Just walked up and got bottles with my wife. Still a large stack availible. The depot had about 20 cs of wild bitter.

I personally think they've done an excellent job cutting down on hoarders. I think a guy would have trouble leaving with more than 4-6 bottles on any given morning. Given that for the last two releases they've had plenty left over, I don't think it's worth it for them to explore other avenues. It's still much better than releases that allow proxies via on-line sales. The only time I think demand will be high enough to have to get there super early will be Great Taste weekend, and possibly for sour fruit beer releases.

 

What's remaining bottle count looking like?

 

If I remember correctly, TG wrote down license numbers for SR71. That would be slower, but would work

 

Much smaller allocation that would never work for this. Its too bad people have to be D-Bags.

 

Don't underestimate determined bottle hoarders.

 

At one release (KBBS), there was a guy in the taproom parking lot waving down random cars asking them to buy him another bottle. The taproom was aware of it, but it's hard to stop that sort of behavior.

 

Sounds about like what I would picture a hoarder as.

Saw that white sedan with the large back window decal in the lot again. Anyone remember that picture posted back on page 2 of this thread where the guy was bragging about the 16 bottles of Wild Bitter he got? Anyone figure out who that ass hole is yet? It'd be so easy to point that vehicle out to NG employees. I've really had it with all these limit-scammers, I find my self more and more irritated with every release I go to.

 

I saw him in 4 different outfits, tried to call him out, but he denied it was him. I got in my truck out of the rain. Username hopsarekey here. I'm awaiting the pic of more than 16 this time. He was chatting with 2 other people who I assume were buying more bottles for him.

 

If I see that car in the lot tomorrow or the next day, I'm definitely going to let some NG employees know. The good BAs out there gotta band together and clean up this mess.

If anyone plans to be at the release tomorrow morning and both
(1) plans to open a Wild Bitter, and
(2) wants to try Wicked Weed's Lusus Naturae,
