New Glarus 2015 R&D

I wish all beer releases were that easy. It took about 3 minutes from parking my car until I had bottles in my hand. I showed up around 9:45.

 

Yeah, my round trip from Milwaukee took me 4 hours total. I almost felt like I was cheating by not waiting in line down the driveway.

 

Very little camaraderie today. Some small bottle shares, but mostly just business.

 

Is there truth that people are able, at least today, to get more than the initial 2 bottle allotment?! Or are more and more people changing clothes in the parking lot to obtain more?

 

I highly doubt they're legitimately circumventing the bottle limit; more likely they are using mules, changes of clothes, wiping the mark off, etc.

It would have been nice to be allowed to go through twice since no one was there and I wont be attending tomorrow or Saturday, but rules are rules.

 

Anyone know if this is still available?

 

Well today was a weekday...I hear ya but...unfortunately Saturday won't be anything like that I'm sure

Yeah it does. I was hoping to grab some bottles after work

 

i wish i was able to go today or tomorrow.
any ideas (from past experience) how early one will have to arrive on saturday?

 

Can someone ask if this is pasteurized when there this weekend? Wondering how this will change over time.

 

Not pasteurized. Label says "third fermentation in bottle"

Note: on the safe side, before 10:00 am for sure. I guess it all depends on whether or not you want to be at the front of the line or back of the line. I don't think it will be as bad as everyone thinks, but it will be the busiest day since it is the weekend.

 

I think it'll still last a good portion of the day on Saturday.

Wish every release was this relaxed. Got to the brewery at 9:45 and they where already selling bottles. Walked in got my bottles, put them in the car. Then took a quick tour and enjoyed a couple Belgian Reds in the beer garden. In the hour and a half we where there probably saw 40-50 ppl come and go with bottles. It seems possible that they sold less than 1500 bottles today

 

How many of those bottles are light-struck now?
