It is, yes. Bad trader thread started about him a few months ago for his tactics

 

Not saying Wild Bitter is pasteurized, but we do know that some NG beers are pasteurized and then have a neutral yeast strain added at bottling for carbonation / bottle conditioning.

Just sayin'.

 

What's the scene like today?

 

Same as yesterday-- relaxed.

 

At least he'll be easy to find though. Illinois plates I'm assuming...

 

About how many folks were lined up when they started the sales?

 

Maybe 40 or 50? People were lined up along the front of the building, but it didn't wrap around the side. There were seats on the rocks for us on the right hand side.

Me too! Was chatting with a guy from MKE-- maybe that was you?

 

I had the styrofoam cooler and was with a buddy, the guy from MKE was probably right between us.

 

Kudos to NG. I'm working in Madison for the day and took my lunch hour to swing by a grab some. Incredibly casual and smooth. No lines at all. Grabbed some bitters and other beers. Seemed like almost half the people there were unaware on the R&D release. I would imagine you are good to close at 4PM today if you wanted to get some.

Had to get back to work, but wish I could have shared a beer with the folks in the parking lot.

We're camping in NG June 12-14 during the Beer, Bacon, and Cheese Festival and next R&D release. Can't wait to go back and spend more time there.

 

Just grabbed 2. No lines.

 

No line when I stopped in at around 1:30pm, main parking lot only maybe 1/3 full. Wouldn't be surprised if they have bottles left over after Saturday.

 

That'd be me.

 

Hopefully tomorrow is smooth. I imagine bottles will be available for a long time. All the leftovers from the prior days. Anyone plan on bringing some bottles to share? Might bring a deGarde bottle to share.

Well if that was you, it was good chatting with you. Would have been nice to meet some more of the people I see on these forums. Guess I have to get there earlier next time. Had a SARA beer to share and could have stuck around afterwards I suppose, but it was hard to pass up the chance to get some R&D beers and still make it to work before 10AM. I think we'll have plenty of time at the R&D release before the Great Taste.
