I didn't share any beer Thursday, but I was on the rocks and I think I was the one that burger_time talked to. I'm the medical laboratory scientist from Milwaukee.

That was me! I was ready to share the beers I brought but they started letting us in early.

Very cool meeting you. I was hoping we would be able to share more as well, but no complaints about it being a quick and easy release.

How's the line this morning, guys? Think it will last all day again?

Super easy again. Got there even later than the last two days...probably 9:45ish. From parking to getting in my car again and leaving was under 5 minutes.

Got there a little before 9 and we sat down to share some beers and right around 9 they started letting us in. By 9:20 or so there was no line. Unless they get a big influx of people later, it should last all day again.

The place was hopping a few hours ago, but no real lines. Most of the people there didn't look like they had come for the R&D. The woman handing out wristbands gave an extra ticket this time and said there would be no multiple times through today, so maybe they read about the cheaters and are attempting to further circumvent.

There was one fairly large group of folks in the parking lot with camping chairs doing a bottle share. Looked like they were tailgaiting for a Brewers game. Nicely done.

They were still doing the 2 bottle limit when i went back today. If it weren't a 3 and a half hour drive, i'd be going back tomorrow, too. Hoping to convince my buddy to make a few stops during the week for me, lol. I'm a sour swillin' fool.

I have not, been working since i got home from madison yesterday. so i haven't had a chance. i thought i read that it was somewhat sour and citrusy, guess i should have read the notes. Either way, i'm a beer swilling fool no matter the style.

I can't really justify another trip probably. Depends on how long it sits. I'd like to go for the next release still

So they will keep selling it each day at the Depot until it is gone?

I would assume so. There is no fruit in this beer.

Had a bottle last night. It was a very nice Brett beer. Some citrusy hop notes, but mostly just Brett. If you don't like Brett beers, you won't like this.

Hard to say how it will age. May very well turn into nothing but Band-Aids.

As much as I hated driving two hours each way for just two bottles, I think two is a good limit for these releases.

Wild Peach sold out all three days last year. If they had done three bottles ea, an additional 250 people would been shut out each day (in addition to those that were shut out anyway).

It's a balance, and I think it's better to have a few hundred bottles stick around for a few days or weeks, than to have more people shut out. As others have said, if there are still bottles of Wild Bitter at the June release, I'll buy another one or two.

Agreed. It also gives a more broad audience a chance at getting bottles. Somebody earlier mentioned that a lot of random visitors were buying bottles without even knowing it was a "special" release, and that's awesome.

I went on Sunday around 10:30 and there was less than 5 cars in the lot. Everybody else just looked to be enjoying the brewery and scenery. They had a couple cases of it sitting in the Depo. There wasn't any mention of a bottle limit, so whether or not I could have carried a case to the register, I have no idea. 2 bottles is plenty for me though. I was more excited that the rain stopped and was able to get a wood-fired pizza!
