    Because lying is fun.

If every rumor we've heard about New Glarus was true they would have released bb kriek over a year ago as either a 500ml or a 4 pack. We've also heard a dozen different things about their r&d series and thumbprints. They can't all be true. Some people have to be misinformed or lying

I think it's mostly just well-intentioned BAs hypothesising off minimal information, none of which is based on factual evidence. "My brother's friend's fiance's father talked to some random brewmaster on a hard hat tour"-type info.

Hey guys, didnt want to start a new thread and i'll be honest sifting through 29 pages of posts is kind of daunting. How much was Wild Barrel and Wild Peach?

Peach was $8. Barrel (and the others this year) were the first to have the 2 dollar price increase.

Does anyone know how early the beer is usually announced?

Was announced July 17th the last time around for a 8/6 release. Seems to be 2-3 weeks, with a bit more notice on Wild Bitter since they brought it to the movie showings. Probably getting close.

I was one of these people that reported information that's been repeated. I took a hard hat tour in April of 2014, and Dan answered questions near the end of the tour when he joined us. At that time he was discussing BB Kriek in regards to a question someone else on the tour asked. At that time he was talking about it as if it would be a Q3-4 release, and he specifically mentioned it as a thumbprint, not an R&D.

Exactly the same thing I heard Dan say. Beer is a tricky thing. Perhaps it didn't turn out how he wanted/or its taking much longer than expected.

That's very true. If it turned out horribly for some reason I doubt New Glarus would be telling people not to expect it any longer

The chances of an R&D beer not having brett seem basically nonexistent. EVERY R&D beer besides Two Women has had brett.

Wasn't a r&d, though did use same bottles for first release, which happened to be very nice
