What I dislike is some of those pigs that went to the CW party and entered early getting up to 20 bottles of 15 and directly effecting the ability for others to even get a single bottle.

Aren't they posting bottle limits because its limited. I'm just against this notion that buying tons of extra beer and clearing out shelves so that you can "help" other people on BA. If your helping them, I'm sure your trading for common shelf beers, right? You said what I always assumed, that your going to buy a ton and hope its values rises to the heights of Mimosa or Wooden Hell and you can cash in for Blaeber and others. I'm making a 100 mile drive this weekend and if its cleared off shelves, I'm sure you'll help me out and trade a few with me for some chicago shelf beers, right? Also when your "helping" your fellow out of state BA'ers, you're hurting your own in-state BA'ers. But this is common practice so what can I do or why do I even care?

I hate that stuff too, but how is clearing out shelves from your local store any different? I assume the people that got 20 bottles at 15 were saving them for future trades too. Go look at the trade board and see what its "valued" at. (((again no malice, just making friendly conversation out of boredom)))

At least there's no truck chasing for this one ensuring it will be gone once I'm done with work. There's a big difference between "I am going to blanket the US with this out Johnny Appleseed style" and "I am going to hoard the crap out of this and hope to score big in a year." Don't try to justify the latter by claiming the former.

I think people are misunderstanding me. I am going to buy probably 6 extra bottles and hold on to them. This by no means is cleaning shelfs. The beer right now is were $7 so of course I hope it goes up in value for trade , it would be the same as buying some extra Bourbon County as it is a shelf beer. I'm not trying to hog it from anybody in fact there was three bottles left with a 3 bottle limit where I bought mine and I only purchased 2

Really doesn't seem like it's even that limited. Certainly MUCH more common than their Sour Ale and that doesn't seem to trade for a whole lot, even. Think the beer will be much better with some age. Definitely a solid beer, just not my favorite style.

It's New Glarus. They're going to pump out TONS of the beer which is going to be more than plenty for the entire state and even the border-jumping Minnesotans and FIBs. Another BA told me they had TONS of it at the Beer Depot at NG so I'm really not worried about them running out this week.

And there are TONS of TONS in this post, just so you enjoy and give me TONS of likes.

Saturday there was probably a dozen cases on the floor in the Depot with a two bottle limit. The simple fact that it's being distributed means it won't be too hard to come by.

Here's how it looks in a glass. Lacing on this beer is impressive. Taste comes off with plenty of Belgian yeast, dark malts, and a slight booziness, but I would imagine the abv is somewhere around 8%. As of right now it's excellent, but I'm looking forward to seeing how this ages.

Has this hit Madison yet? I didn't see any Facebook posts from the usual stores yet so I'm assuming not.

My tiny, sorta craft friendly local store told me they're getting two cases. This should be easy to find a few bottles.

It hit Central Wisconsin today. I picked up a couple bottles for $6.50. It seems the liquor stores are getting 3 cases here.

Woodman's Kenosha has two bottles left as of a few minutes ago (per phone call) -- any know where I can find it elsewhere around Kenosha (or not too far from the Illinois border)? My wife called and said she HAD to have this beer.
