It did hit Madison today. Steve's Junction got 5 cases, no clear limit, gotta love NG.

I'm assuming this one might also see distribution to random small liquor stores/grocery stores since even they probably sell a decent amount of NG's regular offerings.

Drinking it now. It's a really great beer, much better than I was expecting. Unbelievably tasty yeast + maltiness.

Few cases at Sendik's on Capital in Brookfield. Better price than at the brewery.

To mark the milestone anniversary, New Glarus is releasing its 20th Anniversary Ale, modeled after the Belgian Dubbel style. 20th Anniversary Ale is just hitting store shelves this week. It’s intended to be a beer that gets better with age, a symbol that won’t be lost on the New Glarus faithful. "Deb wanted something that would improve with age, a beer people could buy, store and something that gets better as the years go by," says Dan.

Had one last Sunday (purchased at Woodman's in Kenosha). It was delicious fresh, but it had a strong Belgian yeast flavor and I could definitely see it getting better with age.

Any idea how long these will stick around? No idea when I'll be in WI next.

If they make it through the weekend at most places I'll be surprised. It is a pretty limited distribution.

Consumers in Hales Corners look like they had 3 cases of it. Not exactly in the open, might have to ask for it. I bought a couple bottles, didnt seem like there was any limit. And by the way,per Dan Carey, its about 9.2ABV

Not sure how it was with the sour ale, but was at the brewery yesterday 1:30 and they had a drop pallet of it right on the sales floor, like 50-70 cases with no line or anything.

Have a feeling this brew is more on par with the Golden Ale in terms of quantity. Sour Ale was really pretty limited.

Anyone else see that NG has updated their website to include "Specialty" and "Beers we have known and loved - Specialty"? Nice to see these getting official recognition on the website. Especially nice to see that they have a separate entry for the original Two Women Lager.

I noticed that too. Maybe, just maybe the specialty brews will be done again, similar to the Thumbprints but more limited? Gueuze please!
