    Starts tomorrow, August first!

I really want Crack'd Wheat to make a return.
I'll write in a Blueberry Wild Ale as well.

What is everyone else voting for?

Was just looking at the "Beers we have known a loved" sections of the website. Here are some that haven't been done in a few years that I'd like to see:

    Crack'd Wheat
    Black Wheat
    Alt
    Yokel

Definitely a write-in vote for Blueberry Tart.

Please everyone, help out a fellow FIB a$$hole, and vote for old English porter. Guys it's sour, all of you love sours, right?

Black Wheat...all must vote for Black Wheat. You won't regret it!

Blueberry Tart will be a write-in for me too...good call.

They could afford to make it if they had tolls

I'd love to see the Old English Porter redone, but I don't see that happening. I believe it was their worst selling Unplugged/Thumbprint to date (including Winter Warmer, for all the haters), and certainly led to a crap-ton of confusion being it was sour.

thats why it was awesome, before all the kids loved all things with the generic term sour, Dan in a pair of lederhosen made a super traditional sour mashed english porter. I've made a couple myself and they turn out pretty sweet if I do say so myself, but I'd love to get some from the man himself. I drank my last bottle on my last birthday, and I've been dreaming of it since. So come on BA, make this FIB's dreams come true and vote for it.

I just read about the Old English Porter on their website. Fascinating. I provided a direct link for those who are curious.

please everyone read up and vote early and often. I am tired of these porters which are basically stouts, lets get traditional, and let Dan be your guide.

Their Black Wheat was excellent, and I wouldn't mind seeing that make a return. Although I've never tried the Alt, I would love for them to make it (or remake it, I should say). It's a great style that's not done by many micro-brewers.

I'd vote for Old English Porter. Perhaps if it was somehow labeled as a sour and not just a porter it would do better. Burica's right, everyone loves sours now amirite?

I liked when they used to publish the results all at once. Made the vote seem worthwhile, now it's like waiting till Inauguration Day to find out who the next President is going to be. I have no issue with only announcing the Thumbprints as they're released, but the regulars/seasonals...just put it out there so we know what to look forward to! PLEASE, Deb!!
Honestly, we all know it doesn't matter what they make. It will be immaculately true to style and incredibly drinkable.
    On Wisconsin!!

Also, I vote for Smoke on the Porter, never got that one. And I suspect Road Slush will be back this winter as they seem to be alternating that one and Coffee Stout every other year. I'm good with that, too.

I'll drink anything Dan makes. Even if its Winter Warmer.. but only once.

This might have been even better than the current Wild Sour Ale. Definitely one of my favorites. Look in the beer FAQ; there is a section dedicated to this beer. Because people were too dumb to read the label I doubt we ever see this again.

Well, if sours keep building in popularity, I wouldn't be so sure. Dan released it too soon. Maybe in 2015?

The name would have to change. Something to include the word sour (Sour English Porter?).

    My list:
    - Black Wheat
    - Hometown Blonde
    - Thumbprint Wild Sour Ale
    - Thumbprint Imperial Saison - the one from 3 summers ago, not the lighter offering from last year
    - Thumbprint Eisbock - Would love to try this, but if they aren't partaking in the "icing" of beers anymore then I will take Thumbprint Bohemian Lager as number five.

Black Wheat hasn't been around since 2009. For Christ's sake Dan brew some more so I can finish the last two in my fridge. Alt was last seen December 2008, but I doubt that makes a return either. Lately, their winter seasonals seem be smooth, easy drinkers as opposed to what you would see 4-5 years ago. Gone are the days of Alt and Uff-da Bock, only to be replaced with lighter options like Back 40 and Cabin Fever that appeal to wider audience.

I wouldn't mind seeing Chocolate Abbey again...loved that brew. And I will also be writing in Blueberry Tart. Sounds so good!!!
