I just looked on the website and there are NO Thumbprint releases for Sept and Oct. Does anyone have any info on why/why not? Apple Ale is my wife's favorite beer and I need more of this one to keep her satisfied. (common thread I know) But why would there be nothing???

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, Matt

Could be that it is not being brewed this year. Might be a really bad year for apples this year with the odd weather this spring and the whole drought situation.

A friend was just at the brewery and saw a giant shipment of apples come in last week. Seems like our ladies will be happy this fall.

If being a lady is what it's going to take to get my hands on more Apple Ale, then I'm going wig shopping.

Apple Ale three years in a row = disappointment. It is a tasty brew for sure, but the beauty of the Thumbprint Series IMO is that they can release new and different things. If it is going to be released every year, just make it a seasonal and brew something new (or something that hasn't been brewed in a while) under the Thumbprint label.

I believe Enigma is the next Thumbprint release after the Saison. No word on what will be released in Nov/Dec, but it very well could be Apple Ale. For 2012, that would make 4 returning Thumbprint Beers (Cherry Stout, IIPA, Enigma, and Apple Ale) and 2 new (Barleywine and Saison).

Don't get me wrong, I think Apple Ale is great...but give me a Bourbon Barrel Bock or Stone Soup over that any day.
