Where can I find Apple Ale close to Kenosha? New Glarus release schedule says it is available year round, but according to beer menus, no where around. I'm looking for retail four packs, not a bar...TIA.
Check everywhere you can. Woodmans, Tenutas, Mars, gas stations, 7-11. It's not being made in 2017 so you better stock up while it's still available.
I was at Kenosha Woodman's (on 120th Ave) this past saturday, and there were still a few cases stacked with the rest of the NG.
Not being made in 2017?? That is a standard beer I drink in LG on Labor Day to kick off the fall. Ouch
Really? Not being made? I guess it just doesn't sell. OR... they need room to make an IPA! I love that beer, I rated it a 4.44, and I drink it anytime I can find it when I'm in the midwest. I seriously hope this is not a case of hoppier, bolder beers squeezing out the little charmers.
If there's one brewery on the face of the earth you don't need to worry about trend-chasing with, it's New Glarus.
I'm sure it'll be back in 18.. probably some fatigue with that beer as a year round offering, return it as a fall seasonal and it'll fly off the shelf. Same thing has happened to Scream, although it's good they're making smaller batches now
