Sugar river trail and Badger state trails intersect in NG, its a big biking location. Take badger trail to stewart tunnel, really cool.

Awesome thanks. Thinking of doing the Hilltop Brewery self tour, shopping/dining, possibly the winery, and definitely the bike trails. Is three days enough time?

Also, best bottle shop and bar in the area?

One finaly edit: whats the weather like in NG in late april?

Not sure about all the local things, I get there on boy scout campouts mainly, I'm sure another BA will chime in!

Until the ride back… and that's one steep hill!
Echoing what others have said, respectful and responsible are key. It's a nice, quiet (except for the coyotes and screech owls around 3:00 am) campground and well within a walk of the hilltop NG brewery.

There are a couple different spots in town (a quick ride to the bottom of the hill) to buy package beer; gas stations and a grocery. My favorite town bar is Glarner Stube. They usually have 4 or 5 NG beers on tap, all the bottles, and good food.
