Hey folks, I have a friend that will actually be driving thru New Glarus next Thursday and has offered to pick me up some of their offerings. Other than Moon man, I haven't had any of their other offerings. I was just wondering if any locals know what they have available? I am hoping they still have Strawberry Rhubarb. I'm open to all suggestions, thanks in advance for your input.

If your friend doesn't find any there, I will track down some Strawberry Rhubarb for some of that haul picture/av. (honestly the only immediate want out of there is a Baller Stout)

Shoot me a message if he is unable to come through.

Lots of Strawberry out there. Should be easy to find.

You may get lucky and Apple Ale will be out. I also suggest Blacktop. Get Raspberry Tart and Serendipity. There should also be Berliner Weiss available. It's all just really great beer depending one what you like, Lagers, Belgian Ale, Marzen, and Bocks.

The Imperial Weizen and Stone Soup are two of my currently available favorites. Fat Squirrel and Uff-Da are available now as well.

I just happened to notice that there is still some Berliner weiss on the shelf in my (northern) part of the state. I'm not sure that you will find this in the more populated areas, which may have sold out by now. Nice sour, if you can get it. Also noticed that I can still get the Anniversay Ale in the north. Your pal should be able to find Serendipity and Strawberry rhubarb. A lot of places offer NG mix-sixes so you ought to be able to sample their current lineup at minimal expense.

    VSB is long gone, right?

The Sour Blackberry was a two-day-brewery-only sale and you had to get there early those days if you wanted any.

Explains why despite offering everything short of an organ donation I haven't been able to get any...

Try to get your hands on some Wild Sour Ale -- it's very good and I frankly can't believe they sold it for the price they did. Or be happy that you're within spitting distance of Allagash and can get awesome coolships...

I have had the Wild Sour...I'm suspect of the bottle I had because it just didn't have the sourness that I expected from it. Kind of thin and faintly sour.

I'll trade you my coolships and/or other limited allagash stuff for your VSBs....any takers out there?

Rather than starting my own thread I thought I could tag along here. My Mother-In-Law will be passing through New Glarus, WI as well. Would she need to go to the brewery to get this stuff? Or do local stores carry much of their lineup? Likewise, is the brewery easy to get to? I appreciate her offer to grab me beer and don't want to put her out too much.

I have not been to the brewery but I can say that any good liquor store would carry all current ng stuff. Their beer is very available.

If she's spending any time in, or even just passing through, New Glarus, WI she should have no problem hitting the brewery. It is just off the main 'highway' that goes through town and it is quite picturesque and worth the stop. That being said, most NG offerings are available at any liquor store/supermarket/decent gas station.

If she's just passing thru NG and doesn't actually want to stop at the brewery, Roy's Market probably has the same selection at a lower price.

Surprised to see Imperial Weizen was sold out at the brewery today -- ended up buying a 4 pack at the BP gas station in NG.

Three day only, last year was four day.
Each days allocations were sold out in hours except
Sunday which sold out in 15 +/-minutes.
    P.S. Same weekend as GTMW.
