Had the New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red for the first time this week, excellent beer. Fortunate to hit a Woodman's on the boarder, wish they would open one in Chicago (I believe Buffalo Grove is the closest location). Illinois beer (Half Acre, Revolution, Goose Island, etc.) cheaper than all Illinois retail locations including Binny's. Love supporting an employee co-op as well.

You have to relax your eyes and kind of "look through" the bars. Then you'll see the sailboat.

If you relax your eyes enough, does it reveal the mysteries of the 2nd quarter offerings? Does it then reveal that certain long-desired things like Hometown Blonde or Edil Pils magically appear in regular rotation?

That said, Dancing Man is a welcome return. NG wheat beers are really among the best I've had.

The original release of Dancing Man was the best wheat beer I've ever had, & certainly the only one I've ever bought a case of.

And hilarious that NG managed to get the word "hazy" into an Instagram post on a wheat beer release!

Boulevard Wheat has "hazy" on its marketing spiel, too.

They also said the word fruity in the description so Dancing Man is Legit Official New Glarus 'Haze Juice.'

Any recent updates in R&D bottles available at the depot? I’ll be stopping in Tuesday and wondering what to expect. TIA

Someone jumped the gun on an April Fools post?

I don't think it's an April fool's joke--I'm assuming the picture/post was of a beer called Break O'Day Juicy IPA? I hope everyone can see the following as it's from their Facebook page:

Can't tell if you're kidding or serious ... but I would try a brut IPA from NG.

I am serious. Seems Dan might be chasing a trend or two this year.

Fruit IPAs are a dead trend though, at least in my neck of the woods. The only one that moves is Grapefruit Sculpin, and a an then just barely. I'll still try this of course because I love Scream and Moon Man.
