Wasn’t sure of month, if I truly like the beer and of my assumption of what the beer tasted like. I mean NG beers are unique and I know many who don’t like most of their stuff outside the fruit beers.

he isn't sure about the exact timing on when he found it in relation to the release, but thinks it was a month.

Break O Day IPA is an above average fruit beer. Juicy apricot is the best way I can describe it, but it does have a weird little hop bite to it. Break O Day is terrible as an IPA and should have never been marketed as such.

No chance it's already come and gone, fwiw; more likely the clerk just didn't know whether it was coming or going and just knew it wasn't there now.

Looks like they upped the allocation to 5 cases for SR.

It must of been Kenosha Woodman's with the 2 case limit. They're an anomaly.

I wonder just how many cases they had to start with? A two case limit doesn’t seem like a real limit haha

I'm planning a trip to New Glarus (from NY state) in July. Any recommendations about where to look for old releases that they might not have at the brewery anymore? Is it just going to be random luck?

    Grocery stores, gas stations, etc.

New Glarus is everywhere up here. Try the bigger grocery stores (woodmans) or liquor stores (Steve’s). FYI beer at the NG depot is a little higher priced than other retail shops. Woodmans is the cheapest but is cash / debit only. Is there something in particular you are looking for? Strawberry rhubarb may be damn near impossible to get by then unless they do another drop...

If you're going to New Glarus proper, you'll have even less problem finding any of the current releases than you would otherwise, and you'd already have almost no problem with them (except Strawberry Rhubarb, which is going to be a pain). Wisconsin is incredibly well saturated by NG.

Has anybody (maybe someone on a Hard Hat tour) heard anything about R&D release dates? In that past (things change) it has coincided with events in New Glarus (cheese fest, GTOM, Oktoberfest); and we are under a month away from Beer, Bacon & Cheese on 6/8 and all is quiet.

Thanks for the tips. My main target is Serendipity. Other than that, I'm just psyched to try whatever they've got.
