    I vaguely recall drinking that back in the 90's – I believe it was a little too far on the dry side for me, at least according to my beer tastebuds at the time.

    No idea when they discontinued it, but here is a Tribune article from 2000 that mentions it.

    Thanks, that's the kind of stuff I'm looking for. The Celtic Stout Trademark lists 2000-04-13 as a first use date, but plenty of their beers seem to have been released prior to the corresponding trademark first use dates. As of now I'm estimating Celtic Stout's availability as April (trademark) 2000 until August 2000 (article date). The foggiest time period in the calendar is around 1997-2000 because it was pre-website archives but beyond the time when most of their beers would be listed in news articles (as was the case when they first opened).

    This is super cool. just fell down a New Glarus history rabbit hole which was quite interesting. Was unaware that their Coffee Stout was one of the first commercially available examples of the style. Great job OP.
