I would assume so, but not sure if the recent legislation that went through in WI will impact New Glarus's ability to self distribute it.

I know Dan wasn't 100% happy with the first gueuze release (part of it got dumped, they blended the rest of the commercially pitched portion which was inferior to the spontaneously fermented portion), so maybe they are just waiting until the beer tells them its ready.

I need to get back up there for another hard hat tour in the summer, really love walking the brewery and picking the brewers minds about everything from homebrewing / yeast culturing / distribution / upcoming beers / etc...

    Cheers!

Me and a buddy of mine were at the brewery in January and he wanted to chat with Dan or one of the brewers there as he too wanted to see if they would give him any info. on the Cran-bic recipe, which is one of his all-time favorites. He's trying to make a homebrew that's as close to it as possible.

Apple ale was available at the brewery last weekend when I was there.

Lol. It may have been a great beer, but since it was mislabeled I gave it a terrible review. That'll teach them to brew something super tasty and then ruin it by not making it fit perfectly into my definition of the style its listed as.

Yeah, I too was at the brewery around that time and saw a pallet of the Apple Ale. Almost looked like no one was after it.

In hudson they still had apple, barleywine, cherry stout as of last weekend. A little further north they had a bunch of the smoked rye on the shelves still.

    Cut of your jib
    Meaning

    One's general appearance and demeanour.
    Origin

[IMG]The jib of a sailing ship is a triangular sail set between the foretopmast head and the jib boom. Some ships had more than one jib sail. Each country had its own style of sail and so the nationality of a sailing ship, and a sailor's consequent opinion of it, could be determined from the jib.
The phrase became used in an idiomatic way during the 19th century. Sir Walter Scott used to it in St. Ronan's Well, 1824:
"If she disliked what the sailor calls the cut of their jib."
There may be an allusion between the triangular shape of noses and jibs in the figurative use of this phrase, but this isn't authenticated.
