Anyone have an update on New Glarus IIPA/Scream IPA rumors that have come out this week? Maybe someone who has taken a tour recently can provide some details on 1) release date 2) packaging 3) cost and 4) recipe change from NG IIPA

I 've been watching the web site for the re-release of Yokel and the Beer Schedule hasn't rolled into June yet. Maybe next week?

Follow Star or Riley's on twitter. One of them will post the moment it hits the shelves.

I've heard from other people on this site that IIPA is supposedly coming out in June. If I haven't seen it by then, I'll be going up there towards the end of the month, so I'll definitely be trying to get an answer from them. IIPA is one of my 2 or 3 favorite DIPAs, all time.

I don't have any info, I just want to say I cannot wait for this to hit the shelf.

All reports point to IIPA being released in mid-June. They'll be due for another Thumbprint (BW was fantastic btw) and based on what I've heard about when it was brewed, it should be all finished up/fresh by then.

I'm also patiently waiting for Dancing Man. A few other breweries released their wheat beers super early this year (looking at you Bell's). But DM is definitely one of the better ones and well worth the wait.

Pretty sure I saw dancing man today at Woodmans in La Crosse.

Walmart in Madison had it a week ago, so it should be all over by now

I'm down in Milwaukee, didn't see it at Otto's last night. Wasn't looking, though- didn't think it was out yet!

No word on how this is different than IIPA. Can't wait to have a taste this one.

Yeah, I'm waiting for an actual review and not just a #. But I do know that their homegrown hops weren't ready last year (I think they planted them last summer) so that's on major difference. And based on those hops, Dan probably used a variety of other hops to balance them out. I'll bet it's a completely different beer. Hence the name change. Which I assume is in reference to an Eagle scream, ala Old Abe.

Can you elaborate on this. I was wondering about the name since it seemed out there for New Glarus.

@nickapalooza86 Yup, you will like this very much. I think it has more tropical hop notes replacing the previous recipe's sweet malt notes. If my memory is any good, this reminds me of Founders Double Trouble.

@Ri0 if you had to rank NG IIPA, Johnson and Illumination what would your ranking be.
