Anyone have a word on what the next release may be?

No idea but I would do crazy things for Cran bic..... I need more of that. Also really low on Enigma. Anything like those two would be just great.

More fruit beer please. I'd even like Cherry Stout again since it was hardly a stout.

I just called Riley's in madison. No word yet. It would be nice if they adventured into new territory for a change, though I doubt they will.

Ya I do not understand the medicore rating that beer gets.... I guess everyone is rating it as a stout, but to me it is just chocolate Belgian Red and it is amazing.

With the cherry shortage last season I doubt we will be seeing that this year though, if we did I would hoard many a case!

Really? Where does Dan have yet to venture? He has done most styles out there. I just want a awesome one like Cran Bic or Enigma(doubtful as it was released last year). Best limited release program in the craft world in my homer opinion:wink:

Berliner Weiss hasn't been around since 2009 and would fit in nicely during this time of year.

I'm curious too. Is it going to be their anniversary dubbel? When is that out?

Ditto on Cranbic, but a thanskgiving release would be even better! I'm in the minority, but I vote for Liquid Tootsie Roll (aka Chocolate Abbey).

Cranbic would be a fall release as would Enigma. Enigma was released last year, so I doubt we will see it again soon. My guess would be Imperial Saison, Triple Ale, or Berliner Weiss.

Uncle Mike's in Kenosha is probably advertising it already and giving people winter warmer instead.

I just got this off of Milwaukee's Discount Liquors website. I think it may be the Berliner Weisse

You are correct sir. Thank God. Hopefully they didn't dumb this down like they did with the saison last year.

God, I hope you're right. I'd love to try the Old English Porter again, but that's unlikely.

EDIT: God, I hope that MDL link is right.

The question's been asked a few times on Facebook, but Deb hasn't tipped her hand. I would assume the Discount Liquor Website is correct. Between Dark Lord Day and vacation, I haven't been able to make it to Discount in over a month, but they usually have pretty accurate information there.

I hope the recipe is unchanged from the 2009 version, i.e. barrel fermented with Riesling Grapes.

That's awesome, and I'll definitely be grabbing up a bunch of this! I'm glad to see that there are some local breweries putting out a Berliner Weiss, (NG and Lakefront). Anybody know of any others that can be found in WI worth buying?

I haven't adjusted yet to the fact that it's May -- how are the stocks of IIPA holding up? Any recent visits to Woodman's Kenosha to report on?

The Lakefront one was not even close to style.
