They did have 1 case left today. I bought a 4 pack to try, so 5 four packs left as of noon.

My bad, they do have it at Woodmans. In my defense I don't think it was there yesterday morning when I was there, but I could be wrong my eyes don't work as good as they used too?

A beer raid over the WI border: Just got back from Woodman's. It came in yesterday sometime during the day. They have a lot there. Like foobula said, $9.69/4 pack. Also $54 a case. Go Bears!

When was the last time there was a shortage of any New Glarus release? If it's on the production schedule, you're going to find it pretty readily for all but the first few days of the first month that that beer is on. And quite possibly a month or more after it's scheduled. I mean, Woodman's Kenosha still had Winter Warmer in stock Saturday....

I don't think WInter Warmer is on the level of this beer with regards to style and such. I didn't see too many people posting threads about the warmer and buying cases at a time when it was released. Besides that smoked beer NG put out a while ago, it seems Warmer hasn't been well received but kudos to NG for not being afraid of putting out a range of styles.

I saw enigma on shelves for months after its release. I haven't had this beer yet, but I'd bet enigma is more sought after

Yep. Winter Warmer was just a convenient, timely example for me to cite. Enigma lingered, Barleywine lingered, Apple Ale lingered. I once found IIPA at a liquor store in Burlington eight months after it went off production, but that was kind of an extreme example....

Heck, the brewery might even still have Belgian Red on hand. [/rumor mongering] New Glarus brews mass quantities.

I didn't read into this that anyone was suggesting that there was going to be a mass run on this like a limited release. In my case and others, it takes a 30 to 60 minute drive up to Kenosha and we wanted to make sure it was available before coming up. As I said, Woodman's had plenty in stock. Just happy to get a case to drink away over the summer.

Saw at least 15 cases at woodmans, they prob still ahve more in back, saw some dude walk out with like 4 cases of NG, not sure if it was the berlinner. Still a few stacks of IIPA left but that is prob the last of it.

Part of the great part of New Glarus being Wisconsin only is that they can provide such large amounts to their locals. This is one of the reasons I hope they stay that way forever. I wish more breweries were like that until they can provide more than enough to their local population first.

I was in Hayward for the fishing opener last weekend. The IGA in town had Enigma, Apple, IIPA, BarleyWine, Winter Warmer, and yes they had bottles of Belgian Red. Bunch of Peruvian Morning and Bourbon Barley Wine too. That is what is cool about NG, even the super small towns with nothing but grocery store liquor carry all their lineup.

I spotted a single Belgian Red/Raspberry tart gift pack (with two stem glasses) at Riley's in Madison, behind the raffle boxes. Around $30 which seems reasonable. It appeared to be available for purchase (i.e. not part of a drawing.)

Ending up doing neither, went to the Angry Minnow, bought a keg and drove West about an hour to Grantsburg area where there was no ice on the lakes at least.
