So my dad's going to be in Dubuque this weekend and offered to hop the border to pick us up some New Glarus. Anyone have suggestions for places in that area he could hit up? In particular I'm having him look for Cran-bic, Apple, Cow, Moon Man, and probably some Red or Raspberry... pretty much the staples. We're southern transplants from WI, so I'm having him stock up for me. Thanks!

Platteville? Then as a thank you, pay for his lunch @ Steve's Pizza

It's weird -- if you do a 100 mile search from Dubuque the results don't turn up anything near Platteville, but if you search Platteville proper... jackpot!

thanks guys. I figured Platteville was going to be the best bet. Not too many reviews for places here on BA. Anyone have a favorite spot they could recommend? Would love for him to scoop some CW and other WI favorites for me.

Make sure he looks for Toppling Goliath while he's out there!

I went to college at Platteville in the late 90's, but only drank the cheap beer, bud, miller, busch. That town has changed quite a bit and I have not been back, but I know there are plenty of stores that sell alcohol.

Funny, I went to school there in the late 80's and did pretty much the same thing. Our 'fancy' beer when we could afford it was Michelob Classic Dark
