Good job. I have nothing else to say. You are just doing it right.

If it were up to me, New Glarus beer would only be able to leave the state with the approval of a Wisconsin resident.

I have to admit, I feel a bit angry anytime I see a FT of NG beers by anyone outside of WI. NG is all we got, let us have it!

Uh, so can MN take claim to Central Waters then?

I think he was talking about beers exclusively distributed to WI. You can buy CW in MN stores, right?

Ah, yes we get most of them, but a few we don't see - cherry stout this year.

You aren't missing out on too much. I didn't really like that one this year. It tasted a little too cough medicine-y, to me. The CW BB Barleywine, on the other hand, is amazing. Better off spending your hard earned beer dollars on that one instead in my opinion.

I didnt have any previous years CW Cherry Stout but I'm in love with the current version. It seems to get better every time I drink one.

You don't see us crying about Surly being in Chicago now... oh wait, yes you do, nevermind carry on. BTW, I am one of those who frequently humps NG beers across the border from Hudson. My apologies although I can't resist sometimes.

You don't hear me complaining. Dan makes some great beer at New Glarus. Give him all the monies you can, so he can keep doing it. NG production and distribution has never left me wanting. Especially here in NW WI where craft beer sits the shelf forever. I was still buying their Wild Sour Ale off the shelf months after it had sold out elsewhere in the state.

Also, I'm less than hour from from the MN border and take full advantage of it. Fresh Surly/Indeed/et al. are totally worth the drive.

What!?!? you are robbing our precious Indeed? Now I am pissed... /Snark

I have to say Indeed is cranking out some good stuff under the radar IMO, they have a few duds here and there (ie HotBox), but most are really pretty amazing (Rum King, Haywire, Let It Ride, Day Tripper, etc...). Since the coasts have so much going on I feel like we need to join forces here in the upper midwest to show our beer power! We'll even include IA since they have TG.

I'm from Milwaukee and go back a decent amount, so was able to get the cherry stout. I actually love it, it's way better than any of the other cherry stouts out there, IMO.

Gonna have to grab some of this Oud Bruin...

I live 15-20 minutes from Decorah, which puts me at approximately an hour to Rochester, La Crosse, or PDC. Besides having TG stocked at all times, I make monthly Surly and NG runs and mule them back to Iowa. The Driftless area is a pretty good spot to be as far as access to craft beer in rural America goes.

My buddies in Des Moines have made me a beer mule for the 3 aforementioned breweries whenever I head down that way. The way I look at it is that these beers are getting spread around and their demand is being built. I can't see how this is bad for anyone.

Hoping to head east on Sunday and haul some Oud Bruin home if possible. I'm sure Woodman's in La Crosse will get a shipment.

After 6 months the cherry is sublime. I buy it and open one right away; save the rest for late fall.

Maybe I'll pick up another 4 pack to tuck a way for a while. I'm willing to give it another chance solely based on my respect for pretty much all of the other CW brews I've had.
