The conversation stopped being about beer from the first sentence of your first post, and continued in that direction with your second post. If you can't understand lurchingbeast's succinct explanation of why this is so, then I'm not sure how to make it any simpler for you.

 

Alright, well lets make this simple for you. Nate agreed with me that he would do the same thing and have you noticed no one in this thread has said yeah you made a fair trade or I would take that trade? My point has been made. Sorry if someone had the balls to call you on it. Now continue on railing against me as I am satisfied.

As I'm the BA who got "duped", "suckered" and in various other ways "taken advantage of" by Mandark, I'm going to wade into the fray. To start with, for the most part, the value of a beer is totally subjective, there is rarity and price but how "good" or "bad" it is and what it's worth is for individuals trading to decide. This was a trade where I got not one, but two beers that I had been really wanting to try for a long time. In addition, these were beers that even at the time of there release were difficult to find, and neither had been on the shelf for over a year. In exchange I gave up three beers that I could get 30 minutes away from my house a month before. I was pretty damned psyched to be honest. The original trade offer for 4x NG Sours was a bit more than I was willing to do, but Mandark negotiated back, we came up with a trade we both liked, expanded a bit and at no time. Was anything less than a stand up guy. When this thread started, he sent me a BM asking if I felt cheated because that wasn't his intent. Yet again, not the behavior of a con man. I'd trade again with him in a heart beat.

So, Wisconsinality, sure, it may be a great beer. I think you over value it, but fine. Don't trade yours. I don't care what trades you are or are not willing to make. However, using your personal preferences to slander others, insinuate other people are idiots and act like a fool is just undignified, ignorant and disrespectful.
