In some third world countries, when you vote, you dip your finger in ink, seems that would be a good way of doing it to stop people from getting second tickets.

I think it should be the middle finger...

 

Or you just do hand stamps. Good ink. I'm sure we'd see guys with Lava soap and buckets of water in the parking lot.
You'd have to have a different stamp for each day, though.

2 bottles (or 4 for passing through twice) is hardly the equivalent of hoarding. Not advocating the activity of multiple pass throughs but the term "hoarder mentality" gets used too much, even when you get as few as 2 bottles.

 

how was the parking situation? i would imagine 90 percent of folks drove to the lot.

Probably an average of at least 2 per car, their lot and overflow lot can probably handle 300 cars.

These people can get 12 bottles total over the weekend + any mules they had with them. I guarantee some people will leave Sunday with 20+ bottles.

 

So right now is the calm before the storm. The real shit show will start when the double dippers start walking away with more than 2 bottles and inevitably start flaunting it. Just stay cool people.

 

A ticket plus a wristband with the matching number on your wrist would probably work for this. Tampered wristbands wouldn't be allowed.

 

I was at a place in Chicago when they released Prairie Bomb! like this. There were probably two cases on the shelf, and they opened the doors (back door and front door). Watching a bunch of 30+ year-olds literally shoving each other out of the way to grab a single 12oz bottle of beer will make you feel pretty fucking bad about this hobby/passion/whatever.

 

I know, you are numb to the word, since you are from the south.

 

How about being placed on a permanent ban list? A wall of same in the beer depot. That would be hilarious.

 

I saw @PlayaPlaya arrive about 5 minutes too late. That was a depressing sight.

My girlfriends parents were there this morning. They told me I "owed them big time"! Haha! I am very appreciative that they were kind enough to stand in line.

They also sent me pictures....man, is it beautiful there!
