I've got a family member that will be up in Wisconsin this weekend. I want to give him a shopping list for any "red foil" New Glarus he comes across. So my question is this: what Thumbprint beers are on the shelves right now? Is is mainly Barley Wine, Apple Ale, and Cherry Stout? Anything else I'm missing? Thanks!
The seasonal beers out now include road slush, cabin fever honey bock, hop hearty, and totally naked (come April). The current thumb prints available include the barley wine (awesome), cherry stout (march only; awesome), and the IIPA (come April). Cheers.
If you find yourself in/near Milwaukee, Discount Liquor has the barley wine, cherry stout, apple ale (I'm pretty sure I saw it there still a week or two ago..), and some of the older Unplugged ones like the Imperial Weizen, Smoked Rye, and something else, I think the R&D Golden Ale.
Rileys in Madison still had Abt, CranBic and Smoked Rye as well as the newer ones as of last week. The Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire still had Smoked Rye as well.
My parents stopped by NG's store on property at the brewery 2 weeks ago and the only thumbprints available were the cherry stout and the barleywine
I was at the Hilltop brewery last Friday and didn't see any Barleywine. Glarner Stube had it on tap though, tasted great with the meat/cheese platter.
