Anyone that has drank a VSB in the last year or so, do you suggest any other bottles to trade for to open along side? A buddy finally got a hold of a bottle of VSB and I am looking for a bottle(s) to acquire to drink side by side.

Although not exactly the same style, First one to pop in my mind is de Garde's Imperial Blackberry Bu, since they both incorporate Oregon blackberries...

Well keeping with what you are lucky enough to be opening, I would say the NG peach.

That is easily one of the best De Garde beers that I have had. Seconded.

Tilquin Mure would be my recommendation. Pizza Boy Blackberry sour would be another. A 3rd for me would be Trinity Menacing Huckleberry though I don't think it's been bottled before, had it on tap at Trinity a month ago and was outstanding!

+1 on the Pizza Boy Blackberry sour. It is very similar to Very Sour Blackberry. I would like to do a side by side with those two blackberry sours. After my first sip I had of Pizza Boy Blackberry, the first thought that popped into my head was "this is very similar to very sour blackberry".

Snake River's Le Serpent Framboise is hands down the best raspberry sour I've had in recent memory.

Nothing really touches it. I did it about 1.5 yes ago vs franboise noir, and there were similarities but VSB killed it. I drank it a month or two ago, and the only change is VSB is now more acidic, but all of the fruit is still there. Still a 5.

VSB is pretty unique it kind of stands alone but funk factory makes a bunch of great fruit sours that while not the same can hold their own in a tasting with VSB.

If you're looking for blackberry sours, Jester King Nocturn Crysalis is pretty easy to get and is among the best I've had, that beer is seriously underrated. I'd also recommend De Garde The Boysen or De Garde The Purple. Not blackberries (boysenberries and a black/red raspberry blend, respectively), but very stylistically similar (american lambic) and most certainly delicious. The De Garde Bu series would do you well too.
