My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and my girlfriends parents live close to New Glarus. They have sent me stuff from there before, but my girlfriend would like a list from me of what to ask her parents to ship this time. If anybody has been there recently, can you tell me what they had in the store? Hoping to get some more Rhubarb. Their beer section is not working on their site, so I can't see what's in season.

    Thanks in advanced!

Just got back from wisconsin...imperial weisein is their current thumbprint and an octoberfest ( I believe it is called staggerhorn) is the seasonal. I picked up the octoberfest and think it is one of the best of the style (not huge on them). Also got some serendipity, but rhubarb was available in spades. I would recommend trying some ale asylum beers as well...I think they are only local.

Plenty of Rhubarb! Same for Serendipity. The brewery may still have the 20th Anniversary strong ale. Moon Man is an excellent pale ale and is year round. You should call the brewery for an update, they are friendly people when I spoke to them.

    Thanks guys!

I have had the Moon Man and Staghorn. Both are very solid beers! Thanks again!

If you have had and enjoyed the Raspberry Tart and Belgian Red you need to get the Serendipity and Strawberry Rhubarb for sure if you have not had it. I would recommend the Very Wild Sour but that is gone from the brewery and sparse around most bottle shops.
