Any advice on aging Wis.Red, Ras Tart, Straw/Rhub, Serendipity?? How much do these cost on average? How about Cran bic 4-packs? Age? Price? Just received a great box of 12 including 2 Apple ales, I didn't expect so much. Hope to share some during SF beer week in 2weeks.
750mls are 8.99 or 9.99 4 Packs are 9.99 I have no experience aging them, but they won't taste any worse I don't think. Others could elaborate on that I'm sure
I have not aged them for more than 6 months, but these beers are so good fresh (I have not had the apple ale to speak to that one), it's hard to believe that they will improve with age. However, I doubt that they will degrade if you do age them.
You may age them as long as you want, they really don't change much. See the following thread. New Glarus Belgian Red - 1996 Vintage
Thanks for info, damn thats cheap $$$ Rare Barrel averages $20-$23 750ml Almanac ia about $10-11 a 12oz bottle here in SF SARA varies with their fantastic saisons but usually $16-$20 if available Russian Rivers anout $12 for Supp/Cons/Temp $11Sanct $5.50 for Dam/Salv all 375ml corked Lost Abbey goes between $15-18 for their 375ml corked beers
NG has extremely reasonable prices even their R&D brewery only beers are 8.99 for a 500ml not an amazing deal for beer in general but considering that includes the likes of BB kriek, wild peach and VSB its pretty amazing. How much does alesmith run out there? I'm curious what the difference is between CA and WI.
