Is Strawberry Rubarb only available at the brewery or is there a chance of finding it in the wild? thanks

 

I still see it at a few out of the way places in NW WI.

 

On this note what is the best bottle shop around the Milwaukee Athletic Club? I will be in Milwaukee again in July for the Northwestern Mutual annual meeting and want to load up on not only New Glarus but many of the other great beers available in Wisconsin that we don't have access to in Indiana!

 

Depends on which athletic club your talking about. Just check to see how far away from discount liqours on Oaklahoma you are toppling Goliath, new glarus, tons of imports. Its hard to walk out empty handed or dissapointed from that place.

 

Isn't there only 1 MAC hotel in Milwaukee? http://www.macwi.org/

It's about 15 minutes or 6.8 miles away from the MAC hotel.

Worth the trip if you can make it. Idk about MAC hotels but when I googled Milwaukee athletic club I got like 10 results wasn't sure which one it was.

 

Ray's liquor in Wauwatosa is also an option. About 18 minutes away to the west.

 

Have you had curds from the curd girl "food truck" in Madison?

 

I will be travelling from Minnesota to chicago during mid weekday looking to stop anywhere madison or later. Is there a store with lots of wi represention not far off highway

 

Woodman's in Janesville is easy to get to and should have a mountain of NG.

The curd girl is always set up near the beginning of state st during the farmers market, i highly recommend them. IMHO they are the best curds around, i have not had curds from glarner stube though.

 

Trixies on East Wash in Madison will probably have the best selection closest to I94/90/39...probably 5 minutes from the interstate

 

If you're gonna go as far as Trixie's, might as well just go to Woodman's east. Take Highway 30, then Stoughton Road south, get off on Milwaukee St., turn right, you're there. They have lots of O'So/NG/CW etc.

 

I have never been a fan of Woodmans, they typically don't get a lot of the limited stuff. Trixie's will have all of the main stuff, plus more limited stuff.

 

Hyvee East has a better selection that Woodmans East. At least Hyvee gets TG.

 

Not sure about Woodmans East but I did just see TG at Woodmen's West for the first time.
