After a quick online search I didn't find the answer so thought I would post here. I know I'll get the answer here. I'm heading to NH for the weekend and wondered if I should bring any growlers in case I happened across a brewery. Or does each only allow their own to be filled? Thanks ahead.
Breweries can only fill their own growlers in NH. I've seen a couple places rebrand (basically put a sticker on) other growlers in the past, but I wouldn't count on that.
There is no law in New Hampshire about growlers, no matter what any brewer tells you. In fact, for retail sales, there is no brand registration, no label approval. It's up to the individual brewery.
