Heading up NH via MA rte 495 to Rte 3 in NH. Going to be heading through parts of northern mass and Nashua/Manchester and Concord. Eventually ending in N Woodstock. I know about Woodstock Inn and Waynes. Anyone have suggestions for bottle shops and breweries. I was thinking White Birch
If you go to White Birch you might want to try New England's Tap House Grille, just opened this weekend. Haven't been but looks nice.
I'd definitely recommend stopping in at White Birch--just check their hours. They have a well-stocked brewery shop, and they do tours, tastings and growler fills. In addition to the new place mentioned by T-RO, I'd recommend any of the places I mentioned in this post from a few months ago. I'd add to that Murphy's Taproom, which recently expanded their beer list and has White Birch on-tap. I haven't been yet but I've heard very good things about Cask & Vine, a new bar in Derry, just south of Manchester on I-93. You could also check out Martha's Exchange, a very solid brewpub in downtown Nashua, and pick up some bottles from Candia Road/Nepenthe Ales in Manchester--I'd especially recommend their Shire Stout.
