Any suggestions for breweries? Looking mostly for NEIPA style.

What day? Will help to give you info on what breweries are open and their releases.

If you're dead-set on NEIPA within the area, Two Roads may have Two Juicy on tap. Otherwise, New England Brewing in Woodbridge will have fantastic beers on tap.

New England Brewing all the way ... as said, they aren't juice bombs, but their IPAs blow anything else near New Haven out of the water. Especially on a Wednesday :-)

Now, later in the week when Counter Weight and Beer'd (much longer drive) are open ... then you'd have some choices.

Could easily do NEBCO and Two Roads in same day. Be aware NEBCO has a can release tomorrow. Usually busier on those days.

Oops - sorry about that oversight

The only breweries open near New Haven on Wednesday are NEBCo and Two Roads. Go to NEBCo, they will have a can release of Spin Cycle, which is a Citra & Mosaic IPA. Not NEIPA by definition, but really good. Plus they'll have growlers of other beers. Should be an easy in and out, they had a big can release today.

Then go to Amity liquor store right near NEBCo. They may have some good local stuff for you. Enjoy!

Not a brewery but if you're really looking for NEIPAs, The Beer Collective downtown has Sloop Green Islands on for growler fills. Cask Republic and Prime 16 nearby are the other go-to recs for bars, though those two don't do fills.

You might be in luck. Stony Creek just canned their NEIPA Ruffled Feathers. I'm sure it probably is still on tap. Great place to hang out. The other beer selections are a bit underwhelming but at least they have that NEIPA you are looking for.

Also in Hamden is No Worries with Right Me Up IPA. Check hours to see if they are open on Wed.
