High Point has periodic open houses. Greg Zaccardi is a great guy for answering questions.

I have been into craft beer for the past few years and live in western Essex County not far from the Cloverleaf. Although I have never dabbled in trading, I have still been able to hunt down some great and highly desired beers without much issue. I do have to drive throughout the tri-state for work so I am able hit up different beer stores in my travels. That said, I find most of my "hoarded" beers in the 3 or 4 local stores I frequent the most. As with your curiosity to try new beers, finding different beers, both hyped and not, is part of the enjoyment for me. It is an addictive habit but well worth the effort.

My regular stops are Shoprite Liquors in Caldwell, Wine and Liquor Depot in Totowa, Gary's in Wayne, and Joe Canal's in Woodbridge. I also periodically visit Wine Library in Springfield, Stew Leonards in Clifton and Liquor Outlet in Boonton. All good places to find a large selection of different beers to satisfy your curiosity.
