Has anyone ever cellared New Holland Black Tulip Trippel Ale? I've had a bottle in the basement for just about 2 years now. I've gotten the feedback that triples fall off if they can even age after around 2 years. So I'm getting the itch to pop it.

Ok, I'll just drink the thing and let every one know what I think.

I'd be surprised if cellaring does it any good. It's a tripel and not barrel-aged, so I don't think it has brett or bugs doing the magic you would look for.

Do it. I've never found aging to do tripels much good but that's just my personal preference.

I've had Black Tulip at two and three years and liked both very much.
    Smoother and very tasty!
