    From their Facebook:

Sounds pretty awesome to me. Love the name. As far as I know this will be taproom only.

Cool, good for them. Sounds like Tim is getting comfortable and trying some different stuff. Sounds tasty.

I am sure that they cleared this with the Tolkien estate who easily hands out LOTR and Hobbit licenses.

Do they do many variations with Dragon's Milk at all? I actually have never visited their Pub so I'm not sure if they've ever busted out a Vanilla Bean Dragon's Milk (which would be divine) or anything like that. This is the first variant of this I've heard about.

Naw, that's not a Tolkien reference. This is named after Dave Smaug. He's a regular at the tap room and just has really bad dental hygeine.

I love Dragon's Milk and think a bit of heat would just take it to the next level. There's no way I'll make it to New Holland to try. I wonder if they will fill a growler? My brother's in-laws have a place near there and maybe I can talk them into picking it up for me.

This was one of the more pleasant surprises at FOBAB.

Raspberry Dragon's Milk did indeed make an appearance in Kalamazoo at the last Shakespeare's Anniversary Party. From what I remember, it was darn good. I also drank a lot that night, so memories might be fuzzy. I think that it's a solid base beer that they could experiment a lot more with if they choose. Looks like this is a nice step in that direction. Maybe now that their expansion is complete, they will have some adventure time.
