So, it's been very annoying living in Denver trying to find a home-brew shop that is close with good selection.

"CO-Brew" just opened up on 1133 Broadway in Denver, CO. I went the other day, it's pretty amazing...great selection of equipment and recipes, but the kicker is they are a nano-brewery as well. They have a bar with 6 taps of beers they brewed in house (the red IPA was delicious) on their equipment. You can drink a beer while walking around, talking to staff, shopping for goodies, etc.

Apparently they also do in house brewing lessons for up 4-6 people where you can brew a 10 gallon or 20 gallon batch of whatever you want with your friends. Pretty sweet.

I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. It's 5 blocks from my house, so handy.

this is fantastic news! if the prices are decent i might actually not have to plan my brewing around a monthly trip out to aurora to buy supplies. it would be nice to have someplace local to pop into for spur of the moment brewing stuff. it's too bad they are not open on mondays. i initially started shopping at the brew hut in aurora just because stomp them grapes was closed on mondays and that's the easiest day for me to shop.

I can kinda do that too, and the brewery is pretty decent, even!

That's cool though, too bad I moved from 13th and Pearl a couple of years back, this would have been very very nice.
