Went to the new West Sixth Nulu location last week. Great atmosphere. Need to check out Atrium, Gallant Fox and Ten20 yet.

Heading back home to visit the parents in a couple weeks, plan to hit up mirror twin and ethereal. Been a year since I have been back so wondering what’s new?

Also is urban artifact distributed to lexington? (Or any other good distro)

UA is rare here if at all. Honestly, I pay little attention to distro anymore, though.

Worth a low key follow of what's going on at Rock House while you're here. New brewer since you were here last, it's made a difference in a good way.

The most urban artifact I’ve found is in Georgetown at the cane wood liquor box location. It’s worth the short drive out IMO

I have not looked lately because it’s really not my style, but I used to see plenty of UA here in Louisville, particularly at Total Wine.

Atrium dropped Bean's Coffee Stout today, it probably won't last through the weekend, and you'd be hard pressed at any point in a blind test to say it's a beer, much less a 10% one.

I’ve not been to Atrium yet. You just gave me a good excuse to visit...I love coffee stouts. Before moving to Louisville for my day job, I owned a coffee roasting business on the side for several years. I still roast for pleasure.

Swung by West Sixth Nulu for a Snake Cake, then hit up Atrium and grabbed a 4 pack of the Bean’s Coffee Stout. Thanks for the suggestion. Had one this evening and, as advertised, it is very much coffee forward. I’m getting a bit more excited about the Louisville craft beer scene. Plan to hit up Ten20 next weekend.

FYI beer Trappe does have like 4-5 different urban artifacts

Atrium announced a 3 can release on Monday 11/23. Two pastry (?) sours and a NEIPA with Mosaic.

Thanks. Been hearing good things from them and I enjoyed Bean so I will check it out. I’m not into the pastry sours but my son and son-in-laws are.

Due to the latest COVID restrictions Atrium offered their release online tonight. I grabbed all three. I tend to buy a lot of beer from some of my favorite breweries across the country like Burial in Asheville, as well as reach out to some friends who can get me Treehouse, Alchemist, Great Notion, Other Half, etc. But with all the current challenges everyone is facing I decided to start spending more of my money on the local brewers. The brewery scene here gets better all the time and I want to do my part to keep it moving forward.

The 3-bottle Snakes release from West Sixth is at noon today. Nate's Coffee Stout drops at Country Boy. Mirror Twin is releasing a slushee sour. And Ethereal still plans on releasing a peppermint chocolate Baba Yaga next weekend for its anniversary.

I grabbed 2 of the Snake Cake boxes and have always enjoyed Nate’s Coffee Stout. I went up to 3rd Turn tonight and picked up a few of the Equilibrium cans they had on hand. Being the only beer drinker in my house I’m going to have to share some of these with my son and sons-in-law.

I have to say that rockhouse knocked it out of the park with this weeks batch of double kick drum. Been pleasantly surprised with their recent offerings.
