Lou came in droves to W6 today. Snakes in a Cabin sold out before the doors opened. There are still Snake Cake and German Chocolate remaining.

Any must-go-to breweries to hit up along I-75 in KY? Will be driving through the state in late May. Looking for beer to-go. Any place that regularly cans/bottles new beers, not "core" stuff. Crowlers would also be ok but I'll pass on growlers.

Braxton Labs is pretty close up in NKy, Country Boy Georgetown is right off the Interstate. Both have stuff usually available that doesn't get distro. Country Boy should have some of their Living Proof sour series which are usually solid, and sometimes very good.

Has anyone see the first beer in the Leaves of Grass series from Bell's around Louisville? I'll be there in about a week and it seems like my best bet for getting a taste of it

It's at Total Wine, if you just want it on tap, check HopCat, they have a hundred taps, so odds are higher.

Stopped in at Holsopple out in the east end of Louisville and that place continues to impress. Nice clean pilsner and a wonderful citra Dipa. They had a couple other lagers on to beat that heat and a barrel aged weizenbock that sounded interesting.

They’re releasing fruited sours tomorrow if you’re sticking around!

ya I actually got to taste the base sour. It was decent, I was actually a little dissapointed they felt the need to fruit it but that's just personal preference and I understand that it makes for a more widely appreciated flavor profile. I also ended up sticking around for a pour of the barrel aged weizenbock and I was duly impressed, it was rich and flavorful with a nice balance and a sneaky easy to drink body for such a big beer

If you're in Louisville and like saison, Sergio's has a special saison from brasserie fantome that Sergio collaborated on. It's super creamy and pleasant, pretty mild on the funkier aspects and unbelievably drinkable.

Heading into Frankfort/Louisville this weekend. What are some of the best beers available on draft/shelves/package that I should look out for? Any breweries/beer bars that also feature great food? Thanks in advance!

Frankfort isn't great, but RedDot in a strip mall is the bottle shop to check.

For food/beer in louisville I like the Against the Grain taproom and the Monnik taproom. They have a hopcat which will give you the option of lots and lots of beers and ok food. Graelhaus/holy grail has good food and a well curated but small beer selection and is a little hoity toity for my taste. My favorite beer made in louisville should be available that the AtG tap room too, Bo and Luke is their bourbon barrel stout, it's good stuff
