I'm pretty sure the TG Crew had posted on Facebook and Tweeted that it will be delivered to DSM sometime next week.

Woohoo! My neighbor stopped by the tasting room and picked up 6 bombers each of Sue and Sonus. Got 2 of each for me!!

I thought so too, but there is a post on their facebook suggesting otherwise :slight_frown: which I hope is just a misunderstanding.

^^^ Well if that's true...it's a big bummer! Madison gets 30 cases, but DSM zero? At least I know they'll make more, hopefully!

I have been really pleased with all the TG beers I have gotten to try over the past few months. Naughty Temple really blew me away because I thought trying to pull off a BA IPA would be tricky.

I liked Golden Nugget and Brown Sugar, PseudoSue was fantastic, but none of them compared in greatness to Sosus. I love how as the beer warms up just a bit, those Mosiac hops get spicier and spicier. When you get subtle nuances such as that out of a beer, you really understand the love the went into creating it.

Now just waiting for the perfect time to crack open my Assassin.

Wow, no love for Des Moines? I'm more than a little disappointed.

Don't think it's that they don't love Des Moines, but I think that we are one of the furthest locations in their distribution footprint. I just wish we could have at least gotten 4 cases stashed away for TG's next delivery to DSM... like they did with Sue.

I wonder when they will go with an actual distributer. The self-distribution works well when you aren't moving that much beer. Once production picks up, they won't be able to easily provide resources to continue in this fashion.

I personally love the current system... Only brewery I get the beer less then a few days after bottling! If only big breweries who could afford to have there own distro drivers would do that! I understand having one guy delivering beer is not going to do well with increased demand and size. For now it works for me.

This is the only brewery I am breaking my no bomber rule for... I usually would never buy a bomber regardless of the beer but TG is just that good. However I would buy a lot more if in a small format!

I will take it in whatever format they want to use! I just want it here in Ames, or DM at least.

I get that we're 50 miles further from Decorah than Madison, but a little love for the home state would be much appreciated! When Madison gets 30 cases and Des Moines gets zero, that just makes us feel like the red-headed stepchild. :slight_frown: :slight_frown: :slight_frown:

I have two bottles of Sosus available for those who have not yet had it. If you are in the Des Moines area, let me know and we'll meet up.

I hear that. I'd like know how many cases Iowa got in total (not including the taproom). Perhaps thread title should read: New Double IPA Sosus from Iowa.
