My folks will be visiting from New Jersey next month. I am trying to get a list of beers for them to try and find to bring with them that I cant get here in North Carolina. I know i wanted them to look for something from Troegs. Please list some other breweries i should have them look for.

There should be plenty of choices. There are the Jersey\Philly breweries (Troegs, Victory, Yards, Cricket Hill, & Flying Fish). Jersey also gets Lost Abbey and Port Brewery from the west; I don't think you can get them.

I would ask them to bring Schlafly, Firestone Walker, Ithaca, Troegs and Sixpoint!

I'm from Jersey and you can get the second row on the seeka beer site too...have them bring you some Dogfish Head (there's a great limited 75 min IPA floating around here), Weyerbacher, Troegs, Firestone Walker

If looking for something canned from the area, I'd suggest Sly Fox Pikeland Pils.

The second row is shared distribution, or breweries that are distributed to both states.
